Happy Halloween!

Yesterday, my husband and I took the kids to a Halloween Party hosted by our company at Fun Ranch. We all had a blast! It's fun seeing the kids in costumes.

Hi, guys! I woke up early today to finish all my pending online tasks. :-) I love Sundays! It's a perfect day for relaxing, bonding with the family and worshiping God. I won't trade this day for anything else in this world. As of the moment, my little boy is still sleeping like an angel. We'll attend the Sunday service at Victory when he wakes up. There's a Trick or Treat activity today for the kids. I am excited! Then we'll spend the rest of the afternoon at the mall. (This is our routine every Sunday and I sooo love it!)

Picture Perfect

We have thousands of pictures in our computer. And guess what? Most of them have not been printed yet! Hahaha! I'm just keeping them all in virtual albums. I intend to have them all printed last week (especially the ones taken from our trip to Boracay last April) but unfortunately, all of our memory cards were full. Tough luck huh?

Anyway, as soon as they get printed out I need to have tons of picture frames and albums ready.

I wanna go to Australia!

Unfortunately, dreaming is the only luxury that I can afford right now. LOL.

On my previous post, I talked about my dream of traveling all over the US and Europe. And now, I'd like my dream to take me to the beautiful country of Australia!

If my family and I ever get a chance to visit Australia, Sydney would definitely be our first stop. Sydney is renowned for its beaches and with its warm climate, attracts people to the beaches almost all year round. The most popular beaches among tourists are Bondi Beach, Coogee Beach and Cronulla Beach. For sure, my little Greggy will enjoy soaking himself in the water!

Then our next stop would be in Melbourne, where tourist attractions include scores of both quaint and classy bars, as well as tasty restaurants with cuisine from around the world. It's also the best place for shopping!

Then our final stop would probably be in Brisbane. Everything is there. Wonderful beaches, fine dining restaurants, state-of-the-art museums and it's also a good place for shopping and nature-tripping.

Greggy Turned One!

My Greggy just celebrated his 1st birthday last January 16. We held the party at home so we could invite more people, but spend less. LOL.

The preparation got us really exhausted. But it was worth it coz we were able to feed about 70-80 people. Whew! 40 kids arrived (some of them we didn't even know) and the rest are adults.

Anyway, the kids enjoyed the program and the magic show that the clown facilitated. I'd say that everything was almost perfect. Except that some of the "invited" kids were not able to get a Barney loot bag that we gave away after the party. So we kinda felt bad beacuse of that.

But I'm glad everything is over. We're almost broke but we're glad that we were able to throw a decent party for our little angel. That's what's important.

Happy 29th Birthday and Happy Baptismal!!!

It was my husband's birthday last December 9. But since it was Greggy's Baptismal the following day (December 10), we had to celebrate it on the 8th coz we're really busy. We just had dinner at Sbarro. Just the two of us. I gave him my gift at exactly 12 midnight at home.

Anyway,Greggy's baptismal has finally pushed through! Nakakainis lang kasi umulan ng umulan. It was just a simple celebration but I'm glad it turned out just fine(although we went over our budget. Hehehe...). We didn't want to spend that much coz Greggy's 1st birthday is in January. We have to save some money for that too.

We wanted to buy our son a Halloween costume but the problem was, there wasn't any available costume for a 9-month old baby. Too bad. So We just let him wear a hat that was way too big for him and took pictures.

Does he look scared at all? Hmmm...Maybe not!

My Favorite Stalker

I was on my way to the MRT station this morning when somebody put a hand on my shoulder. It was my husband! At first, I thought somebody was trying to mug me. It's a good thing I did not scream. I didn't know he was scrutinizing me from afar as if he were a stalker in a movie. When I came out of the office building and walked across the busy intersection, he hid behind a bunch of people, waited for me to walk past him and put a hand on my shoulder. I flashed him a big smile. It has been a while the last time he gave me a suprise visit.

Anyway, instead of taking the MRT, we took the bus and dropped by at Jollibee to grab something to eat before going home. He's craving for a pancake and I was craving for Spaghetti with extra sauce and cheese and Macaroni soup. After ordering our food, we sat down at a table near the fan coz there was no aircon (still brownout!).

I decided to eat spaghetti first coz the soup was still hot.

HUBBY: Kainin mo na yung soup habang mainit pa! (opening the lid)
ME: Eh ano yang nasa lalagyan ng ketchup? Baket may ganyan? Para saan yan?
HUBBY: Ewan ko. Inabot lang sa akin yan ng cashier e. Parang sauce daw ata.
ME: Sauce? Wala namang sauce ang Macaroni di ba? Meron na ba ngayon?
HUBBY: Oo, bago daw yan. E di tikman mo.
ME: Ay ayoko wag na lang. Baka hindi Masarap.
HUBBY: Ano ka ba, kahit konti lang no! Malay mo mas masarap pag meron nyan.
ME: Ah siguro garlic yan na may toyo. Sige na nga.

I grabbed the ketchup container and took off its lid.

Well, what I saw was not something edible. I saw a very nice pair of earrings! Hahaha. Ang sweet. Thank you, daddy!

Happy Father's Day!

Leo had his first "Father's Day" Celebration.

Our family just had lunch at The Pizza Company. There weren't many people in the restaurant so they couldn't help but noticed how playful and lively our son was. He smiled at everyone he saw and would jump on our table. Even the Manager and some crew went to our table to play with him.

After lunch, we just strolled around the mall with our little angel on his stroller. I'd say he enjoyed it very much! Here are some of our pictures: (Just click on the image to enlarge)
