Have You Heard of B17?

I haven't heard about this nutritional supplement before.

Basically, B17 is referred to as Amygdalin which comes from extracting natural B17 from apricot kernels. You know you're getting old when you start getting interested in anything health-related! LOL. Just recently, my husband and I have started using/drinking apple cider vinegar for its many amazing health benefits (C'mon, google it!).

Anyway, do you think these Novodalin capsules would be a great addition to our heath supplements?

What is B17?

B17 is a substance found naturally in over 1200 different foods, including the seeds of many kinds of fruits, such as apricots, plums, cherries, oranges, nectarines, apples and peaches, as well as many raw nuts.  Our natural B17 supplement is extracted from apricot kernels. B17 was the name given to the purified form of the molecule by a biochemist named Ernst T Krebs in 1952. It is a non-toxic natural product found in over 1,200 foods. Today B17 is extracted from apricot seeds/kernels.

Why is B17 Important?

We believe that a balanced diet is essential to a healthy life. Few of us consume enough vitamins and minerals from the foods we eat. Nutritional supplements become necessary for optimal body function.  B17 is just one of the many nutrients our body needs.

When using nutritional supplements, please inform your physician if you are pregnant or nursing.

Enrichment Classes for Kids

For homeschooling kids, I can't stress enough the importance enrichment classes. We enrolled our son in a taekwondo class during the  summer and now he's taking swimming lessons with his dad as part of our curriculum in MAPE (Music, Arts & Physical Education).

I asked my son if he wants to take piano and guitar lessons too, so I don't have to teach Music anymore. He said he wanted to learn both, but we haven't enrolled him yet because we don't have a piano nor a guitar at home. :(

We need to invest in  musical instruments first so the little boy can also practice his skills, too. Unfortunately, we've already spent a big chunk of our savings for the first quarter alone. So hubby and I decided to enroll him in a music class next quarter.

Where can we buy a cheap guitar and piano? Any ideas?

For the guitar, I found a good epiphone les paul traditional pro at Musicians Friend. Do you think this is a good buy?

Online Selling

Isn’t it amazing that with the existence of social media, it is now so much easier to promote your business? And not only that, it is FREE!!!

I know a stay-at-home mom who earns P30,000 a month by selling and marketing her products via Instagram and Facebook. That sounds pretty easy, isn’t it? So if you are a stay-at-home mom, please do not rely on a single-income household. Seek ways to help your husband financially.  If you have to apply for a business loan, then do so. :)

Family Movie Nights

Don't you just love weekend family movie nights?

Watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the nth time! Hehe. Thinking of getting a B-52 amplifier to boost our movietime experience at home.

I am not really fond of watching movies but when my kids request that I join them in watching their favorite movies, I make it a point to drop whatever I'm doing and cuddle up with them on the couch. After all, they won't always be kids forever. So I might as well take advantage of the opportunity. :)

Bathroom Makeover

We recently finished our bathroom makeover project. Although we went a little over our budget, we are quite happy with the results. It was no different from building a whole new bathroom from scratch because everything from our old, ugly bathroom was replaced.

Take a look at our small, but cozy bathroom:

We have more projects coming up this year and one of them is to renovate our patio. I seriously think using cushions on the patio is a good way to achieve that laid-back and cozy feel to it. But of course, we need to save up for this project first.
