Utilize Your Resources

If your guitar string gets broken, don't worry. I'm sure you'll be delighted to know that you can also order some Black Diamond strings online. See, what can you not buy online these days?  You can even buy a house and lot and monitor your stocks (stock market, that is)! :-)

Being resourceful is the key to finding the best online deals. Without a doubt, online shopping is the most convenient way to get what you need, when you need it. Learn to utilize your resources. Befriend Google.

Medicare Part D

Do we have Medicare Part D plans here in the Philippines? Last year, our company did an orientation about all the health/insurance benefits we were entitled to. Disability and death insurance were tackled, but I don't remember being informed that the insurance also includes the cost of prescription drugs in case of hospitalization.

Hmmm...I guess it's best to consult our HR department regarding this matter. :-)

Medicare Part D is a federal program to subsidize the costs of prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries in the United States. It was enacted as part of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA) and went into effect on January 1, 2006. - SOURCE: Wikipedia

Shopaholic

Don't you just love shopping online?

It's one of the most convenient things in the world! With online shopping, you can purchase anything and everything at the comfort of your home and have the item/items delivered to you within a day or two. Great, isn't it?

You can buy laptops, cell phones, mp3 speakers or players, iPods, clothes, shoes, books, digital cameras, shoes, furniture, and the list goes on. What's good about it is that you can purchase items from other countries.

You just have to be careful with some online stores and sellers though.

Facebook...a major distraction!

I have 9 pending "online tasks" that are due tonight.

A snapshot of my Facebook profile

But in the middle of doing all these tasks, I still find myself sneaking on Facebook reading Status Updates and all. I wasn't entirely hooked before, but now it has become part of my online life though I only get to access my account on weekends (Facebook is prohibited at work).

Oh okay, before I forget...I need to find out what causes hair loss. Gotta go back to researching now.

Cafe World

I never thought I'd be hooked with Cafe World in just one sitting! I am not into games, really. I only access my Facebook account to approve friend requests, read messages and mainly for status updates. But I got bored one day while my kids were taking their afternoon nap and just tried to open the game. Lo and behold, I am now hooked! What I love about this game is I get to design my restaurant. I love shopping for decorations! As a matter of fact I just bought this kind of lampshade a while ago. I didn't know that Murray Feiss lighting has the exact same design. Cool, eh?

Too lazy!

I admit I am very lazy when it comes to backing up my computer files at home. I have tons of pictures (although I have online backup) that I haven’t burned on a CD until now. Most of them are not even printed yet. Good thing my computer hasn’t crashed until now or else, I’m dead!

Anyway,I'll be on maternity leave on December 30 and hopefully I would be able to back up all my files during my vacation. Oh I can't wait to rest and spend more time with my family!

Free audio books

I love freebies! And who doesn’t anyway?

I have received lots of freebies online in the past such as calendars, books, CDs, magazines, sticker labels, diapers and the like. Believe it or not, there are many sites in the World Wide Web that are generous enough to send these items for free even if you live in a different country.

Anyway, speaking of freebies, I heard of a website that gives free audio books. Just Click on the link and try it! Ciao!
