It's OK to be vain, but....

What will you do if your boyfriend or husband is metrosexual? Someone who shaves more than just his face. Someone who exfoliates and moisturizes his skin more often than you do. Someone who's always on the look out for the best anti wrinkle cream for men available in the market. Someone who takes care of his skin more than you do. Someone who gives more value to fashion and lifestyle. *Kaloka di ba?*

I don't see vanity among men alarming at all. As a matter of fact, I appreciate men who know how to take care of themselves. But if my husband is the type who overdoes it, aba! ewan ko na lang! LOL. I would probably feel awkward.

The Crescent Moon and The Planet Venus

Yesterday was a very special day for me and my husband. We celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary. I cooked and served special lunch for my family and we sang our hearts out (videoke) the whole afternoon. Because of the super hot weather, we decided to go to church at night.

While driving on our way to church, we saw something magnificent in the sky. Something I've never seen before. My son was the one who noticed it. He exclaimed, "Mommy, look at the moon and the star!"

We all looked up and saw what he was referring to -- the crescent moon and above it was a "star". I only found out this morning that that star was the planet Venus.

I can't help but think: Did they appear because it's our wedding anniversary?! Haha. Wow, we must be really special!

Anyway, I ate too much over dinner at Shakey's last night. I read somewhere that some food can help us burn fat. Now how true is that? Foods to burn fat?! Awww...no way!
