Despite my heavy workload, I still have the urge to blog eh? Ang Lupeeet mo talaga, Honney! LOL.
My lunchbreak is almost over but instead of eating, I spent my time writing testimonials about my friends. I hope somehow I could brighten up their day when they read what I wrote about them. I love to write. I've been writing since my elementary days. Although I knew I never had the talent (No need to tell it to my face! LOL). I wrote songs, poems -- and even novels. But I flunked miserably. I am such a failure. Hahaha! Quite unskillfull at creative writing...But it's okay. I'd still write and none of you can stop me. LOL.
Anyway, I do not mean to write about superfluous stuff today. I'm writing this entry without any clear topic in my head. I just want to write about something. The porblem is -- I can't figure out what I want to write about.
Oh let's see...We bought Badminton rackets at Megamall yesterday. One for me and one for my husband. We bought them separately and each racket has its own bag (although his racket is more expensive than mine. Ang daya nga eh! LOL) so we'll have the liberty to bring our own racket when we're not playing together. Our work schedules change every now and then. So there will be times that I would play with my officemates after work and vice-versa. We both need to burn these ugly bulges in our tummies! It's now or never!
Hmmm..what else? Oh I also bought some new books at National Bookstore coz I'm almost done with "It's not about me" by Max Lucado. I think all of us should read this book. It's about time to get out of our narcissistic world. After all, life itself is not about us...It's about Him. Self-exaltation, self-preservation, self-gratification and all that will not make us truly happy. The world simply does not revolve around us. If you think it does, well...you got a big problem! I, myself ,am not a full-fledged christian -- but I would like to be one. I guess I just have to be in the "right" church. I think I had found the one some years ago through an "old friend" (she kidnapped me! LOL). It was in September 2002 at Glorietta. Since then I had attended the service (of the same church) several times in Crossroad 77 (in QC) but then I stopped.
I guess I just need a little more push.
