After lunch, we decided to go to the IMAX theater to buy movie tickets. But you know what? The tickets were sold out. It's a good thing though. Because it costs 350 per ticket! That's way too expensive for a movie huh? So we just settled to the regular movie which was 150 per ticket. The lines were too long and the seats left for us were located at the fourth row. Yeah, right...Anyway, instead of buying groceries while waiting for the 5PM screening, we just decided to hang out at the lobby of IMAX to rest coz there were big sofas there that made it look homey. And then we saw Piolo Pascual coming out of the theater with a little boy...:-) Maybe his nephew? Wala lang, deadma lang.
Goin' back to the movie, I didn't find it really amusing. Overall, I would rate it 7 or 8 (in a scale of 1-10). Storywise, I like Spiderman better ---the romance between Mary Jane and Peter Parker, the revelation and stuff... Oh well, I was never a fan of super heroes so maybe i'm not in the right position to judge. I haven't even seen how Christopher Reeve's Superman movies were done before. So, I cannot really compare the difference. I just have one silly question though: Why can't Lois Lane notice that Clark and Superman are the same person? I mean, the latter has no mask or anything that would make you think he's different from Clark ---at least physically. I just find that whole idea really weird and funny at the same time. Oh well, maybe i was just expecting too much...
Moving forward, I really think Brandon Routh is perfect for the role. The guy really has the "it" factor. Don't you know that Josh Harnett, Jude Law, Brendan Frasier and some popular hollywood actors auditoned to get the Superman role too? Oh yes! But they weren't lucky enough to get it despite their fame... Anyway, going back to Brandon -- I saw his interview with Ricky Lo and I was truly amazed with how humble he was. He even admitted that he doesn't even have his own car yet. But he's bound to get the most expensive one pretty soon!
