Farewell to my MSN family...

For the past few weeks, I've been receiving nothing but farewell emails addressed to MSN IA CS VOICE and the "Dead Butterflies" (that's what we start calling ourselves right after the msn-no-more announcement). I thought it's better not to create my own farewell email thinking that it might help me become less sad or even a little less sentimental (iyakin kasi ako!). But it never did help me coz apparently, I still get that inevitable it's-hard-to-say-goodbye kind of feeling.

I know I should be happy now that I've been accepted to a new account. At least I know where I'm going now. But still, the smell of nostalgia is right under my nose. It doesn't seem to go away...I guess the reason for everyone's sadness is not just about losing an account or a job--It's about losing a family. friendship. a second home.

This is our last day. I can't believe I am leaving my station at 5 AM tomorrow and will soon be heading for my new home located at a different building in Ortigas. I can't believe it's about time for me to surrender the PC, my PC, that had been my bestfriend for the past nine months I've been with MSN.

As much as I would like to work with the Dead Butterflies on my new account, unfortunately we all had different plans. Some chose to go to another company and start anew. Though most of us chose to be transferred to a new account because we wanted to stay in the company. Some even applied for a higher position and got promoted, which is good news definitely.

After a while of contemplating (whether to write or not), let me use this little space to say goodbye to my MSN family...

To MSN IA CS VOICE a.k.a Dead Butterflies,
It's been a great pleasure working with you, guys. I will never forget all the fun and laughter that we shared. Working with you feels like not working at all, just having fun I guess. I'll surely miss our weekly fish activities, picture takings, food trips, outings etc.

To my teammates, METRICS UPLOADED(you know who are), thank you so much guys for being so nice to me...for being helpful when I was just starting out...for all the dinner and lunch dates that we shared...for the fun meetings that we had...and most of all, thank you for the genuine friendship that you showed me. To my team lead, Jen Natal, thank you so so much for approving my regularization!

To my batchmates Annalyn, Van, Mommy Lhourie, Venus and Richie: I will never forget the first time we met in that training room in RS... You guys are the first real friends I had in this company. I'm definitely looking forward to working with you again!

To our two lovely QA's, Charina and Abby, I learned a lot because of your monitoring and thank you for the good QM scores I got from you (meron ba? hehehe...).

To the OPS DESK team, Johnny, Jemboy, Joie and Rhen, thanks for being so lenient with us...for not PINGing me when I had not-too-often overbreaks... and for the schedule requests as well.
