Mama, don't cry...

I wrote this poem last year for my mom...whom I adore and cherish the most. May this one show how much I love her and look up to her as being the best mom in the whole world! Thank you, mom, for being so strong and for holding on to us no matter what!

Mama, wipe your tears away...
I pray that things are gonna be okay
Mama, don't cry for love--that's useless
Be brave instead and find your happiness

You have sacrificed yourself all your life
But I truly believe that you'll survive
You're the stongest woman I know
Although sometimes it just doesn't show

You've been hurt so many times before,
But still you haven't closed your door
Your heart is full of forgiveness,
Your every move is nothing but kindness

Mama, don't cry when things fall apart...
Though I know how it breaks your heart
It badly hurts to see you crying
My knees get weak, I feel like dying

Your caring hands are like shelter to me
Where that's the only place I wanna be
I am what I am now because of you
And I wanna let you know I owe it all to you!
