When my husband won an SLR camera (Nikon D40) in a raffle at work, we ended up giving away our two digital cameras to my brothers-in-law (Pentax and Samsung digicams).
But since not everyone knows how to use a professional camera, it's hard to approach people to take a picture of you. During my son's field trip in Subic last year, I ended up not having a picture with my son because I was too shy to ask a favor from other moms.LOL.
As a result, I ended up being the school's official photographer. That's when we realized the importance of having a small digital camera for easier picture-taking on the go.
Because of this, I decided to check out some cheap Sony cameras. (I can't get back something I'd given back, right? Hehe.) But thank God our company gave me a Kodak 10-MP digital camera as a token of appreciation when I resigned from work!:-)
