When I was pregnant with my son, I suffered from a mild hair fall. They say when a woman is pregnant, all the nutrients in her body are being absorbed by the child in her womb. Paranoid and insecure, I thought I would eventually lose every strand of my hair so I thought of doing everything I could to prevent it from happening. They say "your hair is your crowning glory...", so there was no way I would ever allow that to happen with my hair. Not in a million years.
I read many articles online on how to prevent hair loss. I tried some of the tips such as putting mayonnaise on my hair and staying away from harsh chemicals. Since then my hair became shiny and soft, but I still experienced hair fall.
But guess what, it only stopped after I had given birth. I didn't know that some cases of hair loss can be related to pregnancy.
