The Crescent Moon and The Planet Venus

Yesterday was a very special day for me and my husband. We celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary. I cooked and served special lunch for my family and we sang our hearts out (videoke) the whole afternoon. Because of the super hot weather, we decided to go to church at night.

While driving on our way to church, we saw something magnificent in the sky. Something I've never seen before. My son was the one who noticed it. He exclaimed, "Mommy, look at the moon and the star!"

We all looked up and saw what he was referring to -- the crescent moon and above it was a "star". I only found out this morning that that star was the planet Venus.

I can't help but think: Did they appear because it's our wedding anniversary?! Haha. Wow, we must be really special!

Anyway, I ate too much over dinner at Shakey's last night. I read somewhere that some food can help us burn fat. Now how true is that? Foods to burn fat?! Awww...no way!
