Have you heard about Search Engine Optimization (better known as SEO)?

Well, if you have a blog or a website and you earn money from it just like I do -- then you must have heard about it. But the thing is, does anyone really know how this whole SEO thing works? I highly doubt that someone really understands it 100% -- unless you’re an expert.

Anyway, just to give you a little background…

If you check Wikipedia, SEO is being defined as the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search via search results for targeted keywords. Which means, the earlier a site is presented in the search results or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site or blog.

Now, you might be wondering why traffic or hits are so important to Pro-bloggers like me.

The answer to that is plain and simple. Hits and backlinks results to a high PageRank. And high PageRank results to “big income” out of blogging because you’ll get high payouts from advertisers just by writing reviews. And when I say “big income”, I am not talking about pesos. It’s US dollars, sweetie…As of the moment, I earn at least $400 monthly and it all goes to my PayPal account.

So if you really want to make money, don’t just sit infront of your computer and blog away. You have to work hard too in terms of getting more traffic coming in to your blog.
